Hydropro™
A neutrally buoyant rope with a specific gravity close to water — designed for fisheries affected by right-whale regulations.
Hydropro is engineered to have a specific gravity similar to water, meaning that it stays within the water column without raising to the surface but also not sinking completely to the waterbed.
- ~40% stronger than polypropylene/polyethylene
- Excellent UV protection
- Superior abrasion resistance
- No loss of strength when wet; stores wet; resists rot and mildew
- An alternative to traditional sinking and floating ropes
- Between 1.06 – 1.08 Specific Gravity
