The primary focus of our companies is the manufacturing of cordage products. Our base product, Polysteel yarn, is a specialized blend of polypropylene, high-density polyethylene and other additives, and is recognized as a leader in many industries — including commercial fishing, aquaculture and fall protection.

From resin to rope

Our raw materials arrive as resin pellets, shipped to our facilities in rail tankers, then trucked to our individual facilities. The pellets are extruded into a series of fine strands on a state-of-the-art computerized extrusion line. From there they are grouped together — or combined with other fibres — and enter the twisting stages of our operation.

Through several stages of twisting and combination we produce our finished three-strand ropes, which exhibit superior strength, controlled stretch and exceptional durability.
