Commercial Fishing
Polysteel™ is the strongest synthetic rope in its class and the backbone of our commercial-fishing line — roughly 40% stronger than standard polypropylene and polyethylene, with 18% elongation, excellent UV protection and superior abrasion resistance. It loses no strength when wet, can be stored wet, and resists rot and mildew.
For fisheries governed by right-whale regulations, Esterpro™ (a lead-free sinking rope) and Hydropro™ (a neutrally buoyant rope) offer environmentally responsible alternatives, while our SCR Leadline and Polysteel™ Leaded lines provide custom leaded sinking rope for the crab industry.
Aquaculture
Polysteel Atlantic maintains a strong presence in the aquaculture industry, supplying rope for both shellfish and finned-fish operations. Our ropes are trusted for mussel-collector lines, cage and mooring systems, and other demanding marine-farming applications where strength and longevity matter.


Marine
For general marine use, Polysteel makes excellent mooring and heaving lines. Its combination of high strength, low stretch and outstanding UV and abrasion resistance makes it a dependable choice for working vessels and harbour operations.
Industrial & Safety
Polysteel outperforms traditional manila and polypropylene in industrial applications, offering roughly triple the strength of manila and twice that of polypropylene.

Introducing knots into a rope can reduce its strength by more than 50%, so we manufacture a completely knot-free line for the fall-protection industry — built from continuous filaments to exceed national and provincial safety standards.
